Welcome to the blog

Thinking about taking a trip to Music City with the ladies?! Look no further for all the best things to eat, see, and do in Nashville. With limited time, we’ve rounded up all the must-tries for one weekend. Read on to see what you should pack in so you know what to skip!

Friday Morning

Start off with a foot soak followed by a luxurious sauna all to yourselves. Pure Sweat Sauna Studio is THE place for ultimate relaxation. Run, don’t walk to this adorable and cozy spot right off the main road in the 12 South neighborhood. Ask for Landon, and you will not be disappointed!

After the relaxation of your life, spend some time in 12 South (aka the CUTEST little spot for shopping and eats). It’s the home of Draper James, Reese Witherspoon’s to die for clothing store. It’s also the best spot for Nashville merch and a stop at Amelia’s Flower Truck.

Once you’ve shopped till you dropped, you’ll want to make a pit stop over at Bartaco. The delicious local chain has adopted a modern twist on sit-down dining. Order from your table, and see your food arrive as soon as it’s ready. Definitely try their Duck Quesadilla and Churros. You can thank me later.

Friday Evening

Freshen up back at the airbnb before heading back out for the night. We found the most adorable abode in East Nashville dubbed The Mansfield. Complete with Nashville sign and guitar hanging on the wall which made for the perfect photo ops! Since Nashville parking can be so scarce, it’s best to Uber to most places.

If you’re lucky enough to snag a reservation weeks in advance, White Limozeen is worth checking out. This Dolly Parton themed, pink rooftop restaurant is THE place to be. If you’re not so lucky the lobby of The Graduate Hotel is just as pretty got photos.

Head over to Hampton Social for the BEST lively atmosphere. Restaurant on the bottom, rooftop bar up top. While you have to be 21 and over to get upstairs, you will love the vibe! Live DJ most nights and the best views of the city. Next, make a stop at Liberty Common for dinner. The 1960’s drugstore vibe was amazing, not mention the food. Can we say Nashville fried chicken and waffles?

Broadway can be overwhelming, especially if everyone knows you’re a bride. You should definitely take a walk down the main thoroughfare just to say you did. But if you’re looking for a more relaxed nightlife vibe, make your way to Printer’s Alley. There you will find Ms. Kelli’s Karaoke bar which is a hoot and a half if you’re up for it!

Saturday Morning

Time to recover from your wild night of karaoke with some sightseeing! But before things get too ramped up, a girl’s gotta have her brunch! The best place to take in the sights and tastes? Of course…. another rooftop. Nashville loves rooftops, y’all, and so do we! A little spot near Music Row is the place to be. It’s the rooftop pool at the Virgin Hotels Nashville!

Next up is the Parthenon. It’s a full scale replica of what the Parthenon would have looked like intact, to scale. Don’t ask me why this was built in Nashville of all places, but it’s a cool sight to see. Opt in for the museum on the inside if you love art. Not so much if you want a history lesson on the Parthenon itself.

Another great spot is the Opryland Hotel. You don’t need to be staying here to enjoy this place. With 2,888 rooms and 9 acres of indoor gardens, this hotel is the largest non-casino hotel in the continental US. It’s like a little town in there, complete with multiple restaurants, shops, and even a riverboat cruise!

Saturday Evening

After spending last night in Printer’s Alley, maybe you’re ready for the big leagues. Nightlife on Broadway can be fun,but what about trying a place like Jason Aldean’s or Luke Bryan’s for dinner? Both have amazing…you guessed it… rooftop spots, but they can be hard to get into on a busy night. If you’re good with dining in the main restaurant though, it will take you 30 minutes tops to get in. Live music and actual “Big Green Tractor” is Jason Aldean’s made for a fun atmosphere. Oh, and the food was good too!

Spend some more time wandering around Broadway or head back to the airbnb for some bridal themed games or a lingerie shower. However you want to spend it, there are plenty of Etsy shops with all kinds of goodies to get the party going! Who says you have to go out to have a good time? Crank up those country tunes after the games, and dance around the living room, girl!

Sunday Morning

You probably have a flight to catch or a long drive to get started on. Either way, you’ll need some good sustenance to get your energy up and running. Choose Biscuit Love for a classic biscuit with a twist. But beware, this flaky goodness takes about 45 minutes to stand in line for. No matter! Take turns with your gang standing in line so you can walk to…

Murals around The Gulch! How convenient that the area all around brunch is also home to the #WhatLiftsYou mural and the lesser known Moon and Stars mural. Plus, bonus points if you head into the charming store called Kittenish. Inside you’ll find another heart mural as well as a couple of the CUTEST neon signs with quotes. A must-stop!

Of course, you can also head back to 12 South for photos with the Draper James blue-striped wall and the “I Believe in Nashville” mural right across the way!

Headed to Nashville soon? We’d love to hear about your plans in the comments below! Already been and loved our recommendations? Well, we’d just LOVE to hear that too! Yeehaw!
