Hunter and I got Biltmore season passes from my mom last Christmas, and it really has been such a great gift! Living so close to Asheville, we had both been to Biltmore before, but getting to experience it through all four seasons was truly a treat! It was even better getting to share the wonder of this place with a recent couple for Biltmore Estate Engagement Photos.

Brooke and Bryce got in touch with my through a recommendation, and I could not be more thankful! These two are not only stunning, but they are fun and laidback. The perfect combination! Brooke wore the CUTEST dusty blue satin dress for this session, and if you know anything about me, you know blue is my favorite color! So this was a dream!!

Engagement Session Tips

As engagement season approaches, you might find yourself with a sparkly ring on your finger soon! Here are some tips if you are planning your own engagement session soon!

1. Choose a location that is meaningful for you. This is your chance to be creative and fun! Wedding day portraits will go by fast, but engagements are for showing off your personalities and getting to know your photographer!
2. Wear a color you love! Have a fun dress in your favorite color? Put it on! Wanting to branch out in something you don’t normally wear? I’d advise against it! You want to feel totally yourself. As you look back on these images for years to come, you want to love what you wore.
3. Use this as an excuse to dress up. Photos always look 100x better when you get dressed up and have your hair and makeup professionally done. Not to mention, it makes for a fun, all-day event with your honey. Make dinner reservations for after to celebrate!
