We took Gracie’s senior photos at Taylors Mill and Lake Robinson. But what made this session extra special was that Gracie and I are related! She is my husband’s cousin. And because of this connection, me and Gracie go way back! In fact, I met her when she was just 10 years old. Seems like just yesterday we were taking her sister Olivia’s senior photos. Now, I can’t believe it’s Gracie’s turn to graduate from high school!
Taylors Mill provided a perfect backdrop for Gracie’s photos. The mill’s textures and the play of light and shadow added depth and character to each image. Gracie’s first outfit was a casual yet stylish combination of jeans and a top. Then she moved on to a cute skater dress.
Gracie has always had a deep love for painting and playing the violin, and it was important to her to incorporate these hobbies into her photos. As she set up her easel and paints, the industrial backdrop of Taylors Mill contrasted beautifully with the vibrant colors of her artwork.
Transitioning from painting to playing the violin, Gracie transitioned to her third outfit, a super elegant flowy white dress. After some violin playing around the mill, we departed for Lake Robinson just in time to catch the sunset! As the sun began to set, painting the sky with hues of pink, orange, and purple, Gracie stood by the water’s edge. The lake created a magical backdrop.
View more of her photos on the blog today! Congratulations, Gracie. We are praying for an awesome senior year for this sweet girl!!
