I started The Styled Event back in September of 2020 when the whole world was shut down. I knew we all needed a way to build our portfolios and keeping working on our businesses in the midst of a global pandemic. But I quickly realized that there was not a styled shoot event geared more toward natural photography styles in our area. I wanted to bring creativity and fun to photographers near me. That’s the heart behind The Styled Event.

When I was first starting out in my wedding photography business, a huge propelling force was styled shoots. It’s one of the most asked questions I get. So many of you are afraid to host a style shoot or just don’t even know where to start. We take the guesswork out of all that for you! We create every single aspect of our styled shoots. All you have to do is come ready to be inspired. These shoots are perfect for the beginning and seasoned photographer alike. There is something here for everyone!

While we do not offer any formal education on photography at our events, Nichole Lauren hosts each shoot. She is always available for any questions you might have regarding lighting or posing, and she is happy to help in any way on shoot day! What are you waiting for?
