“What’s your definition of success?”

This question hit me like a ton of bricks at the end of the movie. Elvis is one of the most (if not THE most) famous people who ever lived. But his life ended tragically, chasing after things that didn’t really matter. He died alone and very unhappy even though, on the outside, he seemed to be doing really great.

In the same way, the book of Ecclesiastes points out the fleeting nature of life. “A chasing after the wind” describes it perfectly. All we really have is the here and now. And what we are striving for daily is not always what truly matters. It’s not that deep.

Listen in to today’s podcast episode for a short and sweet little heart to heart.
