I’m so excited to dive deep into the details of business today as we talk about how to streamline your processes and book more. When it comes to responding to client inquiries, there are a few keys to keep in mind.

1. Be Yourself.

There are so many other business owners out there trying to sound “professional” at the expense of personality and come off sounding more like a robot. Don’t make this mistake! Especially if you are a service-based, personal brand, YOU are everything! Your personality is what sets you apart. Infuse it into every word in your inquiry responses.

2. Be Clear and Concise.

Now is not the time to be clever. What really converts is CLARITY. Make sure that your inquiry email responses leave no questions unanswered. And don’t try to wow your potential client with flowery language. Get to the point and answer their questions. If your process or language is confusing, they will just as soon find a more approachable option.

3. Make the process easy!

Anything that is hard is a threat to our safety. I know it sounds dramatic, but it’s true. If something is too complicated or hard, your prospective client simply won’t engage. Make sure that your process is really easy to follow. And it’s important your potential client knows the exact next steps to take to move forward in your booking process.
