Your couple chose you as their photographer for a reason. Own it! No matter how you may feel with imposter syndrome or doubt creeping in, lean into this truth. You are here to guide your couple on their journey through an amazing, stress-free wedding day. You truly hold so much responsibility in your hands as the keeper of their memories.
This happens about 1-2 months before the wedding day. I’ll draft a sample timeline for my couplesbased on what I’ve learned about their day up until this point. I also send them a questionnaire to complete before their wedding to learn more about other important details.
We want to anticipate the couples needs and exceed their expectations. Since we are the expert, we know what they are looking for in their wedding photography. I would not recommend getting a shot list from anyone unless it’s family photo combinations with names to call out for efficiency.
