What a day we had capturing Maddi and Andrew’s engagement photos in the heart of downtown Charleston, SC! The historic charm of Charleston, combined with their undeniable chemistry, made for truly gorgeous engagement photos.

Maddi and Andrew got engaged at the end of April on the beach in Hilton Head. Maddi totally saw it coming, but that didn’t make the moment any less emotional. They shared how they cried and laughed during this sweet time. It was an honor to be able to capture some engagement photos for these two in their city before they make a big move to the upstate for Maddi to begin med school!

We kicked things off on Chalmers Street, an iconic cobblestone street in downtown Charleston. Maddi looked absolutely stunning in her white dress, and Andrew was handsome in his classic navy suit. You could just feel the love and quiet devotion between these high school sweethearts! Maddi and Alec met freshman year of high school and have been together ever since. (How sweet?!)

As we wandered through the streets, we stumbled upon the cutest lemonade stand run by two sweet little boys. Of course we had to cool off with a few glasses! Keep scrolling for a cute shot of the lemonade stand moment.

The combination of Charleston’s historic charm and some spontaneous moments made Maddi and Andrew’s engagement photoshoot a beautiful memory. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for this incredible couple!
