There’s something incredibly special about photographing Clemson graduation pictures, but this one was extra meaningful. Hannah’s senior photos weren’t just another milestone shoot—this one felt like coming full circle.
Ten years ago, I photographed one of my very first senior sessions right here on Clemson University’s campus. I remember feeling a spark, like I had just discovered what I was meant to do. Those sessions were the official start to my photography business journey. In fact, I got a little emotional seeing this email pop up showing memories from this exact week, ten years prior.
I got to return to those same iconic spots that got me my start for Hannah’s graduation photos. Hannah is family (my husband’s second cousin), and seeing her walk across campus with her pup Josie brought so many memories rushing back.
Springtime on campus brought blooming flowers and golden hour light—my absolute favorite combination for senior photography at Clemson University. Whether Hannah was in her cap and gown or cuddling up with Josie, every image captured the true joy and celebration of this special season of life.
We wandered Clemson’s campus for all the iconic spots. Tillman Hall, a classic and timeless backdrop that never disappoints. We made our way to Sikes Hall, with its stately columns and soft light that always makes for beautiful graduation pictures. The Carillon Bell Tower chimed in the distance as we captured some sweet moments. It felt peaceful, personal, and full of Tiger pride.
This session reminded me just how grateful I am for this career and the people who trust me with their most meaningful milestones. Enjoy more of Hannah and sweet little miss Josie.
