Back in November, my boyfriend asked me to marry him, and I got promoted to fiance! It was the most amazing night, and I was so shocked. Ever since then, we have hit the ground running with wedding planning with our date set for this summer! It started out a little stressful, but as the logistics started coming together, it’s been such an exciting process. One of my favorite parts so far, hands down, have been our engagement portraits! I was so excited for these photos because, even though we’ve gotten our photos take several times before, these were capturing the most special season yet! We knew we wanted something totally different than anything we’d done before, and my fiance suggested the lake. It was an instant yes! We were so excited to meet with our photographers, Jacqueline & Laura and have the entire beach and dock area to ourselves. Looking back through these photos makes me tear up. I’m so thankful for how God has led our paths this far, and I can’t wait for what’s to come!
