Welcome to the blog

Planning an upcoming engagement or photo session? Need an outfit or two to feel beautiful in? Look no further than these local shops which are, in my opinion, the best boutiques in Greenville, SC. I recently had a photoshoot of my own. (RARE!) And I was on the hunt for several outfits that match my brand and personality. Aside from my faves over on Amazon, these local places had just what I needed!

P.S. This post is NOT sponsored. Just really love these stores and want you to have the best clothing options for your upcoming session!

  1. Dress Up
    • Dress Up is my top, go-to boutique here in Greenville, SC. It has a little bit of everything, and they get new pieces in often. If you’re looking to stay on trend but not go crazy with the budget, you are sure to find some amazing pieces here!
  2. Hudson Blake
    • At the time of this post, Hudson Blake is a brand new store! It’s owned by the same company that owns Dress Up, so you know it’s going to be good. Right now, there is only one store anywhere, and it’s in Greenville! We just got lucky like that. I’d say this store is like if Dress Up had a sophisticated older sister. Think neutrals and a little higher price point. But so worth it! This store was actually my favorite during my recent shopping spree for MY upcoming shoot. They also have select items for your home!
  3. Vestique
    • Another great option for trendy items that won’t break the bank is Vestique. They have several locations across the state, and I always find something that I love. Most recently, I landed on a fun blazer and skort set for my shoot and some knee-high white cowboy boots! They were a little out of my comfort zone, but I knew I HAD to have them!
  4. Ever Row
    • Personally, I did not find anything at Ever Row for this shoot simply because my theme/idea was a little different than their vibe. But I will definitely be going back to for some of their pieces soon! I’d say that are very bright and vibrant, very trendy items. They do tend to be more on the side of college age girls/sorority events (think tighter dresses, lower cuts, and ULTRA trendy styles). But I loved everything!
  5. Lizard Thicket
    • Lizard Thicket is akin to Dress Up, but since it’s not downtown, parking is easier! I didn’t hit up this boutique on my current shopping spree for my session, but it’s always been a favorite for years! I love their accessories here too. They always have the most fun bracelets, hats, and scarves which are perfect with any outfit.
  6. Dry Goods
    • Dry Goods is in the Haywood Mall, and it’s probably up there for my favorite mall stores. I look at it as a most cost-effective alternative to Altar’d State which I also LOVE. They are probably the best boutique with changing out for seasonal items. Their clothes are always being rotated which also means amazing sales! If you head to the back third of the store, you’ll notice that they have so many sale items. This is because they are constantly getting new inventory and can’t keep anything for more than just a couple weeks!
  7. Given
    • I love Given for accessories and trinkets. They also have really fun and comfy tees. If you’re looking for unique items to add to your session, this is the place to go. I loved their handbags and necklaces. I ended up with a cute enamel keychain with one of my favorite sayings on it.
